What’s on board the boat?

Everything needed to sail it, anchor it and operate it. Expect a stereo, and sometimes, fans in the cabins to help keep you comfortable. For a complete list of standard equipment, please see our FLEET page.

What is provided and where can we provision the boat?

The galley is fully equipped to prepare and serve a gourmet meal while on the water. All cooking utensils as well as dinnerware are provided. Also on board will be toilet paper and paper towels as well as garbage bags. Basic cooking items such as oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper, spices, condiments, salad dressings, etc are not provided. There are several good supermarkets and liquor stores in the vicinity of Washburn and Bayfield for provisioning.

How long before the time we arrive and the time we take off?

You should plan for a minimum of two hours for a thorough orientation. We do not want to rush you and want to make sure that you are familiar with the boat before departure. If you want to take advantage of our complimentary boarding the night before you are scheduled to leave, you may request an orientation that evening and enjoy a sunrise departure.

What about pets?

Sorry, pets of any kind are not permitted onboard any of the boats in our fleet.

What about smoking?

All the boats in our fleet are designated as non-smoking.

What about kayaks?

Hard sided kayaks are not permitted aboard our boats, however inflatable versions are permitted. Please note that each boat comes with an inflatable dinghy as part of the standard charter package.

Where is the boat?

Our boats are located in several local marinas. We will bring the boat to the new Red Cliff Casino’s Buffalo Bay Marina dock prior to your arrival and meet you there for the orientation.

You will be able to leave your car at Red Cliff Casino parking lot where it will be under the watchful eye of a surveillance service.

What do we need to bring?

You need to bring the same items as if you where staying in a hotel, as well as boat apparel of your choice, deck shoes, light foul weather jackets etc. We recommend light weight travel bags that are easily stowed; no hard sided luggage is allowed onboard.

What is the check-in time?

Check-in time on the last day of charter is 4:00 p. m. If the vessel is returned after 4 p.m. on the last day of the charter, an additional $75 per hour will be charged.

How can I be reached in an emergency?

Have your party contact us by phone and we will either hail you on the VFH radio or try to contact you by cellular phone. If you are unsuccessful in reaching us, you may also contact the US Coast Guard Station: Bayfield to ask for assistance in making contact with your boat.
